Welcome to our site! The Berrien Kennel Club is located in southwestern lower Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan. The Berrien Kennel Club is affiliated with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and comprises people who own or have an interest in advancing the best interests of purebred dogs and dog fanciers and promoting better care and control of all dogs. We encourage and support dog shows and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club and emphasize the value of pure breeding. We attempt to create public appreciation for purebred dogs and to foster and maintain among our members cooperation, friendship and good sportsmanship.
